This is my first YouTube video, many more to come this year as I move away from daily drawings, I want to spend more time on each piece and share them with you here.

Great work! If you continue practicing, I would highly recommend trying as many different art mediums as you can, like sculpture, painting, animation, chalk, pen, and colored pencil. The knowledge you gain from other mediums can translate into different mediums, like how sculpting can also help you understand 3D forms while drawing! I’d also recommend finding out what you struggle most with, and focus on that as much as possible. If you struggle to draw hair, draw people with complex hair to push yourself!

I actually did this for 2023 too! It’s so cool to see somebody else, and on the same timeline, too!
I even set monthly themes, but mine were different from yours.
I had a special sketchbook for the whole year, and my goal was to draw in that sketchbook every day. It wasn’t always a full artwork or even a full page, sometimes just doodles to allow for rough/unmotivated/busy days. It helped so much and built a routine that I couldn’t let go of…i’m doing it again for 2024. We’ll see how i improve!

My guy, there are not a lot of people early on in their journey who realize that it’s more than motivation. Discipline is required, if you are going for gold. In anything. Art included.

Beautiful poster and very motivating. I'm halfway to complete drawing with ink, pencil and/or china pencil- 100 trees! I've enjoyed returning to some that were not finished as well as I wanted and then redoing it on another page. DRAW ON!
