Geometry Regents January 2023 (Questions 25-35)

In this video I go through the Geometry Regents January 2023, free response, questions 25-35. I cover many of the topics from high school geometry such as:

similar triangles, parallel lines and transversals, triangle proofs, partitioning line segments, exterior angles theorem, using trig to find a missing side, using trig to find a missing angle, cross sections, alternate interior angles, transformations in the coordinate plane.

Quick question, if you have extra steps on a triangle proof like the one of question 33 will you lose points, even if the extra steps aren't necessarily wrong just aren't needed?

I'm confused about these of the distance formula it doesn't matter what you put as the X1X2 Y1Y2 coordinates cause the order that you did it like confused me as it was labeled DU which I always think D is X1Y1 and U is X2Y2 because of the order but in this case it didn't seem to be can the x and y coordinates be in any order ?

Can you please explain what your doing better. You go very fast through things as if we all understand exactly what you are doing. Please don’t just breeze through things without actually explaining what is being done.
