Using a low-budget Camera for Nature Photography (POV)

The Canon 550D was the first camera I ever bought. In this video, I'm taking it out for a spin in my local forest trying to capture some landscapes and wildlife. The lens (Tamron SP 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD) was the first telephoto lens I ever used, and it's the one that got me into Wildlife Photography, so it has a special place in my heart!

Number 1 rule, it's the person behind the camera that matters a lot! And well... it's you!!! SOOOO

When I go for a walk, I go to the forest to take pictures of nature. When I'm at home, I watch a video of a guy walking through the forest taking pictures of nature))

I just YESTERDAY upgraded from my 550D/T2i, and it served me very very well. I got excited to see it here! The sound of that shutter will live in my head forever. Lovely video, and lovely photos!

The T2i (550D) is the only camera I bought new and it lasted me 7 years before I saw a reason to upgrade in 2018.

I am so happy seeing this mainly bc I have a 700d myself with the 55-250mm lens from canon and this really shows that I can still learn a lot behind the camera. Lots of love from the Netherlands and please keep making these videos

I started on the 550D. It's truly incredible how far cameras have come. Technology just leapt ahead to the point where focus speed isn't even discussed anymore, for example.

I've been using the Canon 650D due to budget restraints and I love it. This video proves that the majority of what makes a photo is the artist-- lovely editing:)

My first camera was the Canon 2000D, I then bought a 600d to do videos with. I then built up my portfolio and went over to Sony with the a7iii.

I love the Sony and wouldn’t go back to the beginner level Canon though the newer Canons are much nicer and the classic autofocus hunting doesn’t happen so much with the beginner lenses. That mechanical “vrrt vrrt” at 11:38 is so nostalgic. So yes, you can get nostalgia from the stuff you used to use.

I feel like the most noticeable thing that changed so far is essentially just automatic stuff and mostly autofocus there. some of those "old and cheap" cameras are still absolute gems but just don't operate as fast as modern ones so they get written off as "bad" and sell for cheap while the image quality still rocks. Ofc iso performance, resolution and dynamic range is also important but with modern software i feel like a lot of that just doesn't matter all that much.

After watching the full video the conclusion is it's not the camera that matters it's the person behind the lens that matters.❤❤❤❤
