The wolf is a magnificent animal, is the symbol of the forest and wild spirit, and Native Americans used to observe the wolf to learn from its behavior, to heal.

So yesterday my dog passed away in my arms. He was my little Wolf. A shiba Inu who stood by me through my darkest moments for almost 16 years. This played in the background the whole time. Thank you for this music. It helped a lot, for him and for me.

Greetings from Turkey and thank you for the song! Wolves are spiritual-national animal of Turk's. It is coming from way back Central Asia days of the nation.

According to legend (Ergenekon Legend) Turks lost a major war against their rival, rival or the battleground is not mentioned and Turks had to leave and find a sanctionary. They found legendary lands of Ergenekon and settled in there. The land was rich with natural resources and surrounded by mountains which was full off iron ore. For generations Turks started dwelling there and they mastered the arts of iron and steel but the lands became not enough for the Turks and they had to move but the way to go out from Ergenekon was forgotten after generations.

Turks decided to melt down all the iron from the mountain to create a pass, even so they could not find a proper way, suddenly a great gray she-wolf named Asena appeared and Turks started following its path. The wolf and the Turks reached a fertile land and made it their Capital. That tribe called themselves tribe of Asena(Ashena), defeated their rivals and took the revenge of their ancestors.

Since Tengrist belief is considered as some kind of Shamanistic belief with One Deity, nature is always sacred. Animals such as Eagle, Storks, Deers, Horses, Bears and mostly wolves seen as avatar of Tengri and they believed Tengri watches mankind thru eyes of animals.

Tengri created Er Kishi (Mankind) to overcome his loneliness but Er Kishi became corrupted and became demonic. Tengri witdrawn to heaven and started watching mankind thru sacred animals and guide them. Turks believes Tengri sent a wolf for them and she-wolf Asena was the avatar of Tengri.
This was the reason earliest Turkic Khanates always choose Grey Wolf as their symbols.

Nowadays of course most of the Turks are Muslim but still, Gray Wolf represents a lot especially for nationalists.
