HIDDEN LIGHTROOM Smart Collection Feature

In this tutorial, I share a hidden feature of Smart Collections that makes them much more powerful when implemented.

I can anticipate this question so here is an explanation: If I would have had it set to "All - 5-star, flagged, red label, green label", my smart collection would have had zero images in it because not one image, contained BOTH a red and green label. That is why I had to use the tip shown in the video to get red AND green-labeled images.

Brilliant - exactly what I needed to be able to build a "AND / OR" complex logic for finding images I wanted in a smart collection. Thanks. Just need to be careful on order of applying (eg all PICKED then those which have any keywords want to search on) etc

I never really understood "Smart Collections", now I do and the various option there are in selection. Thanks Anthony. These short videos are great, could you do one on "Moire" and "Defringe" as I am not sure of the purpose of these two options in local adjustments.

Great tip! I would like to create a collectionset that contains a normal collection and a smart collection.
I want that the creteria only applies to the photos within my collection and not to all my Photos. Ho do I do that?
I could add the creteria date and set the date to the same date of the photos in my collection, but is there another way?
