Honda, Nissan Said to Explore Potential Merger

Bloomberg has learned that Honda Motor Co. and Nissan Motor Co. are exploring a potential merger. The two Japanese carmakers have been holding preliminary talks about a combination, according to people familiar with the matter. Nicholas Takahashi repots on Bloomberg Television.

Nissan problem not because of sales or revenue. Its about the company gone to the wrong direction. Merger/takeover to Honda is not a solution. Nissan should Reboot/Restart the company. Stop making common cars. Focus on R&D for new technology in automotive. Meanwhile the company can continue making high end luxury sport cars to boost the brand. And once Nissan found the advantage new technology, the brand can fly to the roof making billion of dollars.
