Ven Pongal - Recipe

Ingredients:

Raw rice - 1 cup
Moong dal - 1 cup
Water - 600 ml
salt
ghee - 1/4 cup
Few cashew nuts
Pepper corns - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Chopped Ginger - 2 tsp
Pinch of asafoetida powder
Few curry leaves

Method:
5. Add the roasted ingredients to the cooked rice & dal. Mix well. Done!
