Crush each shadow until it reaches a powder consistency. Mix with alcohol to form a paste, then layer each color into a makeup compact and let dry overnight.

You forgot to add a highlighter to each color

I made my own and it looks like I bought them, they turned out so good. Same concept but I mixed each of my shadows with some highlighter (Essence eyeshadow in snowflake $3) and more rubbing alcohol than two drops. And try crushing the eye shadows as thoroughly as possible. Makes a finer powder and a better paste to lay in your pan(with a toothpick). I used the eyeshadow pan from the essence shadow.

Sorry but this looks patchy and clumpy af and I would not break Mac shadows for some crazy rainbow highlight, that's not even a highlight. Firm no for me 🙅
