Are the battery charge and discharge levels free to program or are they only with preset values?

I had to return 2 of these. Cannot handle home off grid or Utility for a month. Very light ( cheap parts). The switching only works @ >170v so forget about automatic switching for 120v loads. One ATS was started drawing from Utility and Inverter/Batteries at the same time on the 12th day. The other @ 220v one of the legs was lost at output terminal of the ATS in 2 weeks. Waste of time and money ..Garbage!!

What happens after the ATS has switched to grid power and the grid goes down? Does it switch again automatically back to the inverter?

Does it work without battery? I have a grid tied solar without battery. Does the device take voltage reading from battery to make switching decisions? Thanks.
