How to Install Automatic Door Closer

The CNC room in my workshop was getting too much dust because of the wood working. So I installed this door closer to keep the dust off. Hope this helps in setting up yours.

The arm that is attached to the frame should be at 90 degrees for this type of mount. I suspect that you didn't measure anything according to the directions in the box. The distance from the center of the hinge pin to the first hole of the closer and subsequently to the first hole of the shoe is specific and if not correct can make the door not open fully, open too much or take too much force to open the door. Also the distance of the closer to the top of the door is quite specific so the arm doesn't hit the door.

It can be use both side ? Right and left door?

Attention! The 90 degree angle is incorrect! Such an angle should not be at the lever, but at the thrust!

Let's say i want to lighten the force required to open the door (inward pull, hinge on the right). Do i move the machine towards the hinge or what?
