I have kinda put this project on hold for the moment because the engine is on the drift trike but I may or may not be making a gas tank for it so...

this brings back memories. when i was your age, i turned old riding mowers into go carts. 40 years later i'm still building things with engines, only now it's mostly to sell to other people. the skills you learn now will serve you well for the rest of your life. good job, and keep it up!

You need a pivot point for that suspension and chain brother. A torque converter would be the way to go. It works as a jackshaft in a way.

Great effort I'm doing the same with kx or rm chassis your best bet is buy the $30 pipe on ebay theres 15 different styles and bands. This way you wont blow the engine do the stage 1 kit and you'll be ripping

Drill at a slower speed. Makes it much quicker. I learned from experience. Even if they are the wrong bits. They should still work fine

Great job bro, i would like to know what gear ratio you're running. Im building a bike with a 223cc and im gonna hook up a torque converter to it which comes with a 9 tooth sprocket which will go to a 48 tooth sprocket. From there it goes through a jackshaft to a 28 tooth that goes to a 52 and 48 in the rear. It will have 2 gears but i am thinking of putting 3 in. Unfortunately i dont know the reduction of the torque converter but lets say its 2:1. Now in first gear the complete reduction will be 9.18:1. I was wondering if this will be enough reduction for the bike to wheelie. The bike will weigh around 50kg
Thank you

I made one of your 10 people to see this video.
I'm curious how the straight pipe will sound.
That's not very loud without the pipe.. why not just pot a lawnmower muffler on it except for high water

Some of that was painful to watch. But keep trying fellas! Refine those skills!

You need to buy the 30 series torque converter for it. It will fucking scream.
