I could see the original Lavender Town music possibly causing headaches in people. Sounds at different frequencies can cause funky things in people. But that's the extent of it. No way anyone committed suicide after listening to the song a few times.

That Buried Alive wants to battle screenshot... I'm surprised it fooled anyone, because there's a very clear white square around the sprite of Buried Alive, showing that it's been edited in very easily.. unless that was JWittz using some screenshot he made or found online for a creepypasta

The lavender Town themes headaches is due to the placebo effect. If you're told that it causes headaches, your body gives you a headache. Another example of the Placebo Effect is the medication effect. 6 people were ill, not fatal just a cold, 3 were given actual medication, but were told it wouldn't work, it didn't. On the other hand, the other patients were given a sugar pill and told it would work. They were healthy after a week.

I remember this video really scared me as a kid, particularly the part about buried alive. As an adult I now know that the whole thing is garbage but it's still fun to go back and laugh about how gullible I was.

I watched this video for the first time when I was around 7/8, it scared me so badly I ran away and had to have my grandpa turn off the video. To this day, despite first hearing of how fake it was from the beginning and never playing any gen one game, I am still thoroughly scared of that corpse and the sprites.
