She deserves a good movie about her. This legend absolutely haunted my childhood (about 2002-2008) and now it’s like no one cares.

I was petrified of this legend as a child. It affected me so much that even to this day, I’m an adult, I can’t bring myself to look in the bathroom mirror at night or with the lights off. Even if it’s mid day and the lights on I still feel a little nervous. I also don’t have mirrors anywhere else in my house expect for the bathroom.

Fun Fact: Back in the day women will use the Blood Mary ritual to see their future husband in the mirror they will see their future husband standing behind them while they saw bloody marry sitting down in the corner of the bathroom inside the mirror

The story of Bloody Mary, I heard was that there was a very beautiful girl in a village named Mary and one day her house caught fire and she was in the house but she survived and had several burns all over her body and her face was completely ruined. So everyone in the village knew if she would see what had become of her face, she’d probably do something to herself. So they removed all the mirrors in her house, but one day Mary managed to see her self in the mirror and she was so devastated that she killed herself infront of the mirror and now travels through mirrors everywhere. Idk if this is true but this is what I heard since I was like 8

The Bloody Mary game always terrified me, and to this day I've never fully completed the game. Steff did a great job of telling the personal account while touching on the legends. I grew up hearing a story about Bloody Mary having kids in life and then tragedy struck causing her to be a ghost. I'm curious what others heard, and if the story changed based on location.
