Daenerys is Rhaenyra’s direct descendant, Dany is from the bloodline of Rhaenyra and Daemon’s marriage. Rhaenyra and Daemon procreated Viserys ll, who procreated Aegon IV, who procreated Daeron ll, who procreated Maekar l, who procreated Aegon V, who procreated Aerys ll, who procreated Daenerys Targaryen. Daenerys is a descendant of the Rhaenyra and Daemon union.

So since there’s no Hightower blood sitting on the throne after The Dance of the Dragons concluded, ultimately, the Blacks won… the Greens lost. The Blacks won the civil war. But it did come at a cost, which was weakening the strongest dynasty that ruled Westeros. The Targaryen dynasty took a huge hit because so many dragons died. It was a very bloody civil war.

In the books, I hope Daenerys experiences a better fate than she did in the tv series. I hope that in the books Daenerys gets to sit on the Iron Throne, she deserves it after all she has suffered and sacrificed.

Daenerys was a better queen. She cared about the common people, she freed them and saved them, gave them better lives. Rhaenyra and the rest of the Targaryens in HOTD didn’t care at all about the common people, they were too busy caring about their own feuds. For example, when Rhaenys killed all those commoners when she stormed the coronation, Daenerys would have never done something like that (and I'm ignoring whatever they did to her in season 8).

I wouldn't say Daenerys or Rhaenyra but Queen Conqueror Visenya Targaryen or Queen Conqueror Rhaenys, Not only that they played an important role in the conquest of the 7 kingdoms but together with their brother they portray 3 characteristics, can you guess?? Rhaenys represents the beauty of humans, while Visenya represents pure power, now tell me what does Aegon symbolize?? That's right, Justice!!! As much as I love Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) or Rhaenyra (Young-Milly Alcock) or (Adult-Emma Darcy) I cannot ignore the 2 queens who started it all.
