That was just a title, it's good to hear Bishop Matthews will continue to do the work of the Lord. Only what you do for the Lord will last, and that is what counts. God has a greater need for him, and no one will be able to stop him. God's purpose for your life can never be stopped by any man, no matter who he is. I pray that COGIC is headed in the right direction and follow the Will of God and not the desires of man.

Enjoyed you Bishop Matthews at the 116th Holy Convocation during THE COGIC World Missions Seminars. Very very very informative. I enjoyed the moderator also from Florida. You all are informed, have boots on the ground which is to say not just talking but working to lift up mankind. Sorry to see you go when I was just becoming involved with meeting you in person and creating a true missions relationship. I love missions and like to meet people who have taken it to a whole new level. Please post the videos of your 2-day mission seminars during 116th Holy Convocation. This was my first time at the Holy Convocation and didn’t know exactly what to expect. One thing I knew I was going to do was to attend sessions related to missions and I was not disappointed!
Well we'll keep an open mind and seethe vision of the new leadership and pray for him and especially for you the outgoing leader.

As you said, you don't have to have a position to do missions! Your contacts are global! Wow! What does GOD have for you next with your wealth of on 30 yrs of marriage! I love seeing a family working together to advance the kingdom of heaven.

Everyone serves for four years, and the Presiding Bishop has the right to reappoint or appoint someone new for that position. So, at the end of the day, Bishop Matthews was not taken down. He just was not reappointed. Ask me how I know because it happened to me in 2009 for the International Department of Evangelism for the Church of God in Christ.

What's going on? This is extremely unsettling. Please keep your eyes on Jesus and not on man. He's coming back and the signs are all around us. Pray! Pray! Pray! Trust and Believe in God and God alone.
