HTC One M8 vs Samsung Galaxy S5: Which is better?

The 2 weakest traits on the M8, being the awful 4 Meg Ultrapixel camera (which is worse than last year's OIS version) and the non-replaceable underpowered battery as the 2 strongest points.  I couldn't believe you actually said the M8 had a superior camera and longer battery life.

Nice review but it's obvious that you're a M8 fan.  Wrong on a few issues.  No doubt M8 is built well and gorgeous.  Drop it a few times and you will be sick. That's why over 90% of the world's population uses cases.  With a case on phone, who cares what it's made out of.  Also wrong about cameras.  M8 camera is junk.  Wish HTC would wake up on that one.  Also wrong about battery life.  M8 may last a little bit longer, if you say so, but battery cannot be swapped out.  No replaceable battery, no deal!   Love the speakers on M8, which is best feature.  Some screen display experts/sites say that S5 display is best ever on a Smartphone.  No axe to grind for me here as I wouldn't buy either, just sayin'    Love my Note 3.  ;o)

All the HTC One needed was a better camera and it would've been perfect for me. But I can't see myself trading from my Note 3s 13MP with 4K recording to a 4MP that just "gets the job done".

Agh maybe I'll get the M9.

He obviously got the specs backwards on these two comparisons lol... We all know that the Galaxy S 5 has a superior camera and better battery life and you can actually change the contract on the display on the Galaxy S 5 as well just saying...

The battery life is awesome on the HTC m8, and the camera is fast and takes excellent pics.

Samsung galaxy s5 has the better screen by far display mate rated it the best screen ever and brighter than any phone some people just don't read or cannot read.

Galaxy s5. Removable battery, better screen, waterproof, can be run over by a suv, Better camera, software updates (HTC are shit at pushing out the next version of the software) (Samsung is slow but they do it.) The htc m7+ is shit, it belongs with the phones of last year. Not this. My old iphone 4 has a better camera -_-
