Went through same procedure week with my trachea change. I liken it to an orange being pulled through a donut hole.

Could you please describe how did you feel? Did you get any infection?

That shit hurts. And they pull like it's not tearing through living tissue. Mine scarred down around it so bad it almost killed me.

Edited to add: At least switch this guy to a bivona trach so changing it doesn't cause so much trauma. Jeez...
