Today we learn about the Flight Management System, often called a FMS or FMC, and look at why it's such an important feature in modern aircraft. The system is often controlled using a Control Display Unit or CDU in the cockpit and it reduces a pilot's workload.

Doofer, youre hands down the most informative youtuber when it comes to flightsimming. You always create videos about stuff people actually want and need to see. It would be even better if you created a dedicated series, starting with complete knowledge on how to plan flights, different navigation techniques, etc. I know you got older videos that already cover some of it. Would be nice to see them remade as a whole series with the new microphone and progressively explaining those very important topics. Fingers crossed! cheers

Thank you for this intro video, and looking forward to your next videos related to the FMS. All those buttons look intimidating, but I'm sure once you know what you are doing, it isn't that bad after all.

It took me weeks, but I have gone through your whole list of tutorials. I would actually like it if you play through some of the game's missions and lesson in fsx. I think the lessons in fsx learning center specially are really well done and we don't have many of these videos in youtube.
