I purchased the foil quill pens for my Cricut (haven’t used yet), so can this “freestyle” version be used with the original set or does it need to be an entirely new purchase?

I already do this with the regular foil quill. That is how I touch up thing that didn't transfer. Just be careful because it can get hot if held for a long period of time.

I just bought the 4 piece pen set from HSN, can’t wait to try this!!! One question..when I use this on fabric or leather, does it have to be sealed with a varnish or spray?

I'm thinking about buying a foil quill pen, I would use it on velvety fabric (on a book cover), but I'm a bit scared it wouldn't work. Do you have any experience with it on velvety fabrics?

Very cool but this has me confused. I regularly use foiling techniques with toner/transfer gel and a laminator, how does the Foil Quill work without the toner/transfer gel? Are the foil sheets different or is it something that the Quill itself does?
