Update! We just announced that Lost Recipes will release on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at the retail price of $14.99 on the Quest Platform.

Not usually a negative nelly when it comes to Schell's experiments, but I feel like for me this will be like those Nintendo DS cooking apps, which conceptually sounded engaging, but the barrier for entry just ended up being too high; so they just gathered dust.

That said, I also thought Euro Truck Simulator 2 was going to be a yawn fest for me and after 350 hours of that, I realise what looks presumably boring in VR sometimes has immense staying power. And if you learn RL skills within that time, it's an added bonus.

So, to be fair to a studio I trust, I'll reserve judgement until I get my oven mitts on this one.

Applause is due for taking a pioneering move with this title, either way.
