Hello from NY. I live about 15 mins North of Albany in a private small mobile home community and I started growing during the pandemic to help my elderly neighbors with fresh fruits and veggies during the pandemic. I buy a large bag of soil from the sod farm in March and start my plants inside then move them outside into the beds I put together with pallets so our neighborhood bunnies, groundhogs, woodchucks and deers can't get to them. I love your channel!

I almost cried because when you said the first plant to plant in April are carrots.

I immediately had the image of Tuck eating one of his favorite snacks 😢 He really loved those. The little boss pulling them out by his self and biting the rootpart off and just enjoy.

Just let some carrots flower and next year you'll have thousands of seeds. I just spread them out like grass seed, and water. I have so many carrots right now that I just laugh. They are growing just fine super bunched up. All sizes
