I don’t think the houses near the water are too risky. I lived in a house right on the water with a fairly sheer drop. It was incredible windy, even when winds weren’t that high for others. The views on the water were absolutely gorgeous though. Oh...and you don’t want wooden window frames. The salty air and spray rots them quickly. I liked it.

i wonder why baguio isn't in here. or is it for another video? living in baguio( Philippines) it is also a risky life. it is situated between 2 mountain in the northern ( luzon) part of the Philippines. it is one of the most hit place when a hurricane or flood will happen in luzon. most houses there get flooded almost every year and some even taken away from time to time depending on how strong the winds and water is that comes down from the mountains. same happens in south-east davao in mindanao
