Met a bloke with a series 4 patrol who got his sent to Brunswick diesel in WA for the 6.5l chev v8 diesel conversion. The whole conversion set him back $30, 000 which isn't too bad for a brand new motor. Sounds mint and goes hard.

By the looks this conversion wasn't done for power, It's an extremely low-boost setup, made for hundreds of thousands of touring km's with good low-end grunt and bombproof reliability.

Yes, ok whatever, , , , do some research, , , , your thinking of the old 350 gm diesel, and yes it was it was a POS...I do actually have a 6.2 on a M1009 that came out of an H1, and it says GM/Detroit medium duty diesel emissions exempt on the valve cover....but to each his own.👍

I have a 6.5L v8 brunswick goes hard, sounds sick too, sadly the owner recently took his own life so the company has gone into liquidation no longer exist in Wa

You can make more power from a zd30. The CRD version will easily push 140KW with a bigger turbo.

A factory 24V cummins makes around 150kw and 800nm in base form, tweek it even a little and you can push more than 200kw and 1000nm and not even begin to strain the motor. I've seen the drive in and drive out prices for both the brunswick and places that have done the Cummins conversion and the cummins is more than 20 grand cheaper. It's also a more reliable motor to People can do what they want but there is a reason GUs with this engine conversion don't sell for much more than factory powered units.

my td with like 8k spent makes 200hp 600nm. has 190k on it for some reason it doesn't sound worth the money to do a bruns swap.

Sorry, I am from the UK and more than a little confused.
You took out of the vehicle a Japanese engine and replaced it with an American engine?
Am I missing something? Is he smoking something?
