See the latest new feature for the Office app - Jump Lists! With one click, create a new Word document, Excel spreadsheet, or PowerPoint presentation. Also, get back to your documents faster than ever.

In this video, I explain what jump lists are and give a quick demo of the new jump list feature that comes as part of the Office app. The Office app is pre-installed as part of Windows 10 RS4 and above. If you have Windows 10, you already have the Office app and you can use this today!

As full disclosure, I work at Microsoft as a full-time employee.

Hey Kevin, I like your clear videos! You say the Office App jump list is stored on the cloud. Where do I find it on my OneDrive?
Now what about Excel installed on my PC? I have Excel pinned to the Task Bar. When I right-click the Excel icon I get a jump-list, and I have about 20 files pinned there, but they are not in the order I would like. I have seen talk about Microsoft restoring the ability to organize those lists with simple drag-and-drop, but I think we'll die before MS ever does anything. Anyway, I have found numerous posts about where the Excel jump list is stored, but when I clear all those places, my jump list is still there. Do you know where it is stored please? And do you know of a quick way to organize the list into the desired order please?
