Mirra Andreeva is unbelievable. First time watching her was that epic Aussie girls’ final earlier this year. Never would’ve thought in a million years she would be playing Sabalenka 3 months later on one of the biggest tennis stages in the world.

What a run only for Mirra Andreeva! Being that young (today she turned 16), but translating her phenomenal ITF results to WTA is ridiculous! Beating Fernandez, Haddad Maia and Linette in same tournament without losing a set is something impressive! Her defensive skills are impressive, i think Sabalenka will have hard time against Andreeva! I also can feel the warrior spirit and the desire for big successes so i think with that mindset and keeping healthy Mirra could be big deal sooner than we expect!

she's built for tennis, good height, strong core (she has a large rib cage), wide shoulders, long arms for reach.
not to mention she's thinking well when she plays, hitting the right shots. seems like a future top ten player

I watched her in Israel in the end of 2022 where she won the first W60 title anyway her game really improved after AO junior final the power in general mostly on service but her weapon is the defensive skills that's exactly what she'll need more than anything against Sabalenka the first basher on path.

At the start of the match, Linette hit a hard BH slice into Andreeva's FH, Andreeva totally did not know what to do with it and hit it way out. Yet she never tried that shot again for the rest of the match. If I were her I'd hit that slice all day long or until it stops working.
