moved that cut up ... so that when you removed that lower section you would not have cut outside the branch collar ... so the wound would close and not sucker ... unless you went on to cut down the whole tree? Lower mass lower risk!

Is there an attachment to angle the bar ?

I was rude...and I'm sorry ... You might want to just skip the under cut notching on the next one and go 3 ft. up the branch and cut slow...or when it starts to go ... stop cutting ...it will not tear back 2-3 feet... then do your under/over to clean up ... you can see way better and you don't have a whole branch falling at once... I'm sorry for the dork comment...man Landscaper to Landscaper !

I have loads of stihl and Husky equipment including the stihl 101 pole saw great at first .Till the 50p 's worth of fuel pick up inside the tank fell off rendering the whole machine useless same problem has happened three times costing over a hundred quid to fix, had to have new clutch although the thing is hardly ever used .Ran it today now running like a pig .Have to say had more trouble with it than any other bit of kit, Seriously thinking of selling it .not sure if husky do an equivalent ? very disappointed indeed .Piss poor from Stihl .Spoke to stihl U.K who said they had never heard of it before they would say that.
