This is right on time. I am sitting in a hotel in New Orleans to attend my graduation tomorrow morning. This is my second masters degree. My first one occurred 6 years ago and because of the marriage i was in, I did not attend. Today, 6 years later after 2.5 years of clinical courses and one year internship, a hysterectomy, divorce, job stress and helping my daughter through highschool- I sit here in NOLA the SAME PLACE my first graduation was and...I am not alone, I am with my 19 yr old daughter. This is a cause to celebrate myself!!!

I celebrate myself all the time. I go out to eat on my birthday by myself (if I dont have someone else to go with) go to the movies alone and I buy flowers for myself as well. If you dont treat YOU well nobody else will!

Seven Reasons to Celebrate Ourselves:

1. Your self esteem is your responsibility.

b) Acknowledge your achievements
