I'm excited to try samples from two new releases for 2022....by this new fragrance discovery called Di Ser. They are based in Sapporo, Japan and use ingredients exclusive to Japan including a Japanese Oud! They are:
1. Hikaru Daichi: (33 ml. Parfum) Agarwood, lime, geranium, Todo pine, oakmoss, hinoki, vetiver, red pine, & frankincense.
2. Hoshi Tsukiyo: (33ml. parfum)
Bergamot, lemon, rosewood, rose, boronia, frankincense, hiba wood, Hokkaido pine.

L'occitane has a very forward nice verbena fragrance, "Verveine". I'm a sucker for orange blossom too, and I recently discovered a beautiful new one: "Atlas", in Loewe solo range (I think male targeted but unisex) from their rainbow collection. It's orange blossom with a beautiful incense, on a woody base. Doesn't project or last that much, but really well composed 🙂

Lancome launched Mille et une roses in 1999, nose was Christine Nagel. Sounds like this may be another rerelease? Mille et une roses was hugely appreciated by fragheads. The juice was blue, a delicious mild ambery rose with an undercurrent of white musk, laced with pear. I got it in a coffret with Sikkim, Magie, and Climat, but I believe it was sold on its own in the Lancome boutique on Rue Faubourg (apparently now closed). Fingers crossed for this one, thanks for the heads up.

"da(hn) to(hn) lee", meaning "in your bed"--very suggestive, obviously. The "hn" is the nasalized vowel where you never actually say the consonant, just the nasalized vowel. What a quirky idea, something you might spray on yourself or...if you prefer...just your bed. There's a definite smirk behind that product! Yes, "mille et une" is 1001. 🙂

OMG, I cannot believe that Jean paul gaultier Gaultier2 is being rereleased ❤❤❤ I have left numerous comments on your videos requesting you to do a review of this great perfume which I regret not buying when it was readily available so am so so so happy to hear they are releasing again, about 2 years ago I left a direct message on JPG Instagram account asking them to release this perfume again that's how much I love it.

You almost had it perfect! Dans and ton were perfect but "lit" would be pronounced "lee". And YES! One thousand and one roses! Your French is pretty good, Sebastian! I'm really excited to smell Penhaligon's The World According Arthur. The boutique in my city that carries them will get it soon. Also, Parfums De Marly Haltane, which I thought was supposed to be a Harrod's exclusive but the boutique in my city that carries PdM fragrances has it now listed on their website. So, those are the ones I'm most interested in smelling.

Can't wait to get my nose on Sports Car Club and those Carons. Montale also has Fantastic Basilic coming out with kumquat, pear, frangipani and basil leaves. A very interesting mix for the spring!

I'll be curious to see if Frederic Malle Dans Ton Lit manages to not smell identical to an existing release with those notes (Orange Blossom, Neroli, Bergamot, Lemon, Petitgrain, White Musk). Sounds so good though! I love neroli. Speaking of, would love to see a 4711-themed video!
