Daisy Edger-Jones is a massive hypocrite.

While the hypocrisy is especially obvious because of the clear juxtaposition between the interview she posted and the Hot Ones appearance, Daisy really just represents the attitudes and behaviours of society in general.

Everyone talks about how much they love animals, and people love interacting with animals like chickens and lambs. Yet, at the same time, we also pay for these animals to be killed needlessly on our behalf.

It’s clearly hypocritical for Daisy Edgar-Jones to post about a Buzzfeed interview where she talks about how much she loves chickens, when a day before she had shared a clip where she is eating chicken wings on #HotOnes.

And on top of that, during the Buzzfeed interview, Daisy didn’t just talk about how much she loves chickens, she even described how the chickens in the video are ‘ex-commercial chickens’ who were now living ‘free’ and ‘happy’ lives.

However, while the hypocrisy is especially obvious because of the clear juxtaposition between the interview she posted and the Hot Ones appearance, Daisy really just represents the attitudes and behaviours of society in general.

Everyone talks about how much they love animals, and people love interacting with animals like chickens and lambs. Yet, at the same time, we also pay for these animals to be killed needlessly on our behalf. 

It’s important that we don’t just say that we love animals. Instead, we need to actually live in a way that shows that we do. So here’s hoping that Daisy recognises her hypocrisy and goes vegan.

This is probably the worst thing about being vegan. I recently watched a family member grief and bury their pet fish and get sushi the same day. Feels like being the only red pilled person in the room sometimes.

People do this in general: say they love someone and then treat them like garbage. Every husband who “loves” their wife and yet doesn’t do their fair share of the housework and childcare, leaving her with a crippling burden that negatively affects her health and career. Every parent who “loves” their children, but is unwilling to work through their own trauma, and barrages their child with emotional and psychological abuse. I see people treating their own family like crap on a weekly basis. Is it any surprise “animal lovers” treat animals like trash when so many people treat their “loved ones” so poorly too? God, even at the last retreat I went to at a Buddhist monastery, I met a young women who kept making ageist comments to me about the older retreat participants. The one good thing about most people is that they make you really appreciate it when you encounter people who are genuinely kind and actually align their beliefs with their behaviours. They’re so rare, you know to appreciate them as much as possible when you meet them.

Even more hypocritical cause Daisy said those chickens were ex-commercial chickens. She wanted to show off and virtue signal saving chickens from farming but she wants them in farming to eat them.

And yet some nonvegans say vegans virtue signal. It's more virtue signaling to be hypocritical and not practice the good behavior. At least vegans practice veganism.

Two things.
Hot Ones will and have provided guests with vegan wings, so if she’d wanted to, she could have participated in that show without hurting any animals.
Also, she stared in a horror movie called Fresh. Where here character was imprisoned and exploited for her meat.
What was the message of that film if it wasn’t that it’s wrong to violently exploit a sentient victim for their meat?
