The least fortunate generations are Gen Z and Millennials. Yes, that's right: for the first time ever, the current generation is poorer than the previous one. You may have heard that the millennial and generation Z generations are unable to raise families or purchase homes. All of this is accurate. These younger generations have a confluence of economic difficulties, enormous educational debt, and a fiercely competitive job market as the world advances quickly. All of this occurred after the outbreak and the severe recession of 2008, respectively. We will examine the causes of the unsettling reality that millennials and Generation Z are the poorest generations in history in this stirring video documentary.

Excellent video! My wife and I are very early Gen X (58 yrs of age) and have Gen Z children - 25, 24 and 21 yrs old.

They are all full of doom and gloom - some of it exacerbated by politicians & social some of it results from being unable to afford anything close to the lifestyle that they had growing up.

My son is doing so/so, has a 10yr old car that's paid off and he rents a nice house in the suburbs with two roommates. He has zero debt & is self-sufficient. He will be 25 in two weeks and says he won't ever be able to afford to have kids. He works hard, but doesn't feel as if it is enough with inflation, costly gasoline, high grocery bills, etc.

My stepdaughters have no hope at all, they go to college part-time and neither of them care about every marrying or having children. No work ethic at all.

I recently had a conversation with an older friend of mine. We talked about loan forgiveness and she was naturally against it. As am I. I explained that I have been paying my student loan payments for the past 12 years under IBR. I owe more now on my student loans than the original amount. She was shocked when I told her my interest rate was 6.8%.

why are they “poor”? Poor work ethic, daily $7 Starbucks lattes, fancy cars, clothes, handbags, cosmetic procedures and vacations to show off on social media. There’s more but I’m getting tired of typing…
