I got fed up with all ink printers and switched to laser.

Black & white is good enough for me but colour laser printers do exist.

As soon as the Eco Tank came out it was on my wish list. You're right about quality ink because it's got to be the correct viscosity, resistant to drying to slowly or quickly etc. If Britec says it's good, it is

Thanks Brian.
I've been looking to replace my old printer for quite a while. These types of printers are a good step forward in respect to the usual cartridge type printers.

I have had my Epson ET-2750 for over 2 years and I have not had any problems with it and only filled up once so far. Love my printer

If you don't use it all the time the printhead dries out and plugs up. I took it apart and was able to use an ultrasonic cleaner and isopropyl alcohol to clean out print head one time. The next time it would not clean up.

Thank you for sharing. Everyone has a problem with ink printers and it is not the price of ink. Our problem is the lack of use of a printer. If you haven’t used a printer for a long time . The print head dries and clogs a jet or multiple jets. And when you wanna use a printer for one A4 print it will cost you $65. Yes very expensive print. And after that you don’t use the printer for a long time and again you need to make 1 print. . The cost of that print is so high is due to flushing the clogged jet and draining the ink tank just to unclog the dried out ink from all jets. No thanks I am no longer interested in inkjets. It is nota cheap printer when I pay $65 for 1 print is it.

Ditched a working HP inkjet cartridge printer in favour of an ink tank Epson ET-2850 a few months ago. Very pleased with the results and a fraction of the cost for printing. I am very much against ditching working equipment but it was costing me £100+ for a BW/colour cartridge pair. I'm very happy with the print quality and software associated with the printer including scanning functions.

I have the Epson ET-4760 and it runs like a champ. Yes, buying ink by the bottle will save a lot of cash and the only thing you have to worry about is the waste bin, which i still have yet to replace after two years of constant printing. Quality is great, from normal documents to photos, which surprised me. Epson has improved their software as well, which is another plus!

Thanks for the review!!! After doing a good bit of research I decided to go with the Canon MAXIFY bulk ink tank system. It wasn't just about the bulk ink but also the single pass double sided scanning as well as user replaceable printhead and a user replaceable waste purge tank. Yes, I did a good bit of research and knew what to look for as my previous job was as a copy machine installer and repair technician. The MAXIFY System also uses Pigment based ink instead dye based ink for print color fastness.

Let it set for a month and see if the ink dries out and clogs up the print head. I had an Epson Stylus 800 and I used up more ink running cleaning cycles than printing.

I've had eco tank printers for twenty years ( originally a modified Epson printer with an attachment ) but I now have an eco tank 4700 which I have owned for 2 and a bit years roughly and yeah gone are the days of cartridges for me... these eco tank printers are an absolute must and are so cheap to run.

Printer ink is expensive so i don't have one. I use friends & family when I want something printed. 🤣Good video.👍

For people who rarely print and their printer idle most of the time, you'd better use laser printer instead of inkjet. Because ink could easily dry up if not use frequently or you need to flush the ink regularly which will cost ink to waste.

I'm a heavy printer users, I print tons of artworks, documents and stickers. I like using Epson as its printhead is much more durable than Canon which uses heat for the printhead. Color and speed wise, Canon produces more pleasing color and print faster.

As, I print nearly daily, I'm using non oem ink which cost much cheaper than oem ink. For hands on person like me using Epson is the only choice to convert it to use other ink types such as pigment, sublimation, DTF or eco solvent ink.

I just refill my ink cartridges in my old HP commercial printer! It doesn’t have all the fancy features but prints in color and can be refilled.

Great introduction to the Epson Eco Printer. How easy is it to remove the print head and clean it when it gets blocked, say in 2 years time? Any chance of a Head cleaning Tutorial? Cheers, PS. Thanks for your grate advice over the years.

I've worked in the printing industry. The Printer that I have that is incredible in printing costs is the Xerox colorqube 8780. Dye Sublimation is the the cheapest and best quality up to professional printing quality.
