As good as Gwen was it was very EZ to get lost in the great era of R&B 80's & 90's. ....Sad to say her songs are hardly played, thank god i'm from that era and still play those great songs from the past. Unfortunately, Gwen passed of cancer 1999. for sharing your musical gift to the world.

Grew up in East New York, Brooklyn. Then ivy league education and law school. Found my husband. A Jersey guy. Then he died 25 years later. Raised a family. Kids went to college.I miss him horribly. Thought we be seniors together. Now I'm with a friend who cares and accepts me. Faults and all.

Summer of 1985 as a little kid growing up in Crown heights/Flatbush, Brooklyn; watching all of the women/men/grown ups Roller skating, stepping/dancing to this incredible, harmonious, and soulful jam inside of the Empire Roller Skating Rink.
1980s was absolutely one of the best, last decades/era of the 20th century in
