1983 JOHN DEERE 4450 For Sale

Up for auction on consignment is a 1983 John Deere 4450 tractor! This tractor has every thing you need to farm efficiently and look good doing it. All around this is a really tight and honest tractor. This tractor is standing tall on 18.4 x 38s! Rear tires are Firestone 23* tires. Outside duals has been replaced in recent years and are about 75% tread. There is a couple of cuts in the lugs on the left hand tire but the core and sidewalls are solid. Front tires were brand new in 2016! They are BKT TR-135 and the size 14.9 x 26. This tractor is equipped with optional John Deere front fenders which are hard to find. The tractor starts right up and runs excellent. The MFWA engages and disengages correctly and this tractor is also equipped with a differential lock as well. The tractor is also equipped with 2 hydraulic outlets and a 540/1000 pto. The 540/1000 pto makes this a very capable tractor for any farming operation. It also does have a full three point with the original top link. The PTO starts and stops as it should and the three point raises and lowers correctly as you can see from the video. The tractor shows 2900 hours! This tractor was purchased new by a nursery and has just pulled an offset disk most of it's life. They would disk before they planted the trees and then would disk a second time after they harvested them. This is why the hours are so low, it was never used for normal farm work. As you can see from the first video both clutch and brake pedals are very tight. All around the paint is very nice on this tractor except for the normal spots of wear such as around the grab handles on the hood and around the fuel cap.
