Dust 2 influenced a lot of FPS games. I remember a game I used to play back then, Assault Fire, also has a Dust 2 inspired map. Surprised it's not S tier.

You should do a full break down of Anubis with various competitive theory and such. Its still hard to wrap my head around.

Insertion 2 has an uncanny-valley feel for me as a swede. It's crazy how well the creator(s) managed to capture the "swedish-town feel". Great map!

It hurts me to know that cobble never made a return. I remember loving the map whenever it still had the correct t spawn, but lopping off half the map was probably the worst thing that they could have done for it. Unfortunately it seems it won't make a return for a very long time, if ever.

I may be biased because cs_assault and all of the clones it spawned were my favorites in 1.6, but I get nostalgia thinking back to tearing up those maps in the older days of the 1.6 era

There's just something about Shipped that makes me never forget it, despite how bland it looks. Something about fighting it out on a moving ship was always cool as hell. I definitely agree with C or even low B, I think it's really underrated, and with a visual update, it could come back beautifully

I loved Insertion 2, it was such a cool idea. Sometime you should rate the Arms Race maps. Unlike the other war games, it is still popular, despite its several flaws, but has received relatively little love from Valve.

Engage is my favorite non-active duty competitive map. When it came out my friends and I queued that map a LOT and it's has no broken spots, it makes good use of features like ladders, vents, and staircases, the entries and defend points play well, and the concept is very unique (CAR FACTORY!!!) that every match is guaranteed to be fun.

Yeah Season is a great map. I would love to see it revised and playable.

Seaside is an amazing map. When it was in the game we played it in competitive on repeat. I also liked it way more BEFORE they made it so the bomb teleports out of the water.
