i just saw this remake and I enjoyed the movie as a story based on the Character Robocop, its an interesting take on his story and origins, made with todays tech and stuff it makes sense the writing changes and how they redid everything, from toning down the violence to changing his origins and the biggest change, having him "awake in a robot body", essentially putting a man in a robot body, and to me it made me think of our own society and how everyday we are becoming more machine like and how machine is becoming more man like, like how Robocop is able to overide the system thats keeping his dopeamine levels supressed and the love for his son and how a father cares for his family is shown in this movie very nice. Robocop essentially "mastering machine" by raising his own dopeamine levels and beating the ED-209's proves that in the end the system wasn't making him belive he was controlling his ability to fight, that it was actually him fighting and he is using the system as his new body, essentially in the end, Alex Murphy masters machine, and successfully becomes "one with machine" and I feel a lot of ppl are missing that premise of this film, and when you understand this, you appriciate the film more, and enjoy it more, but to me its just a good take on Robocop's story, using todays film tech, making it look fantastic. i would have liked to see a longer montage tho of Robocop patroling the streets and solving little petty crimes and maybe helping old ladies cross the street by grabbing them and jumping over traffic and the granny has a fun time being 20 ft in the air, or he rescues a cat about to fall from a high story and his new body is so mechanically precise, it can save a cat and not harm it. i give it a 8/10

I personally think that they could have made the suit look better. The silver one that he wore briefly looked perfect, but the black one was too thin and gave no resemblance to a robot body. At the very least they could have made it look more bulky, kind of like the Iron Man suit. But what can you do? I still liked the movie for what it was.

Here's the deal. Robocop is not an action character. He's a cyborg. like a tank, immune to most damage. This looks like an action character in a suit.
