The only major thing I feel that were the reasons this didn't happen is the fact None of them have the light speed dash, something that a lot of cyberspace stages were built with as part of the level design. They could've easily made the dash a part of the skill tree for each of them. Considering they all got the spin dash

This mod is awesome. Finally all playable characters in cyberspace. I want some open zone mods too.

You know when I played in the open zone, I didn't really find the startup on Tails and Knuckles flight/glide that annoying, but seeing how it would work in a traditional level really sells how much of a slowdown it causes in the moment to moment gameplay. Still would have been nice to give us the option to play as them in the arcade runs after beating the Final Horizon though. Wonder how much more fun, if abuseable these characters would be paired with a mod to add back in open zone physics to cyberspace, or what the levels would play like if Amy got her max ring boost. (Tails and Knuckles obviously just break levels with it, and its not even funny).

I hate how they handled multiple characters like they even have the freaking double jump why they just made a worse character compared to others and even funnier part is Amy hits robots with freaking cards but not a hammer
