I know that alot of people don't really like this song, but I personally do. It's really chilling first impression and sets the tone for rest of the story, I think it does the job pretty well

1-1 is so uncanny but so cool, your first impression of cyber space is not the greatest, because the aesthetics, the level design and the song are all familiar, but at same time it feels like everything is out of place, just like all of those green hill endless background elements floating across the stage, this song feels a lot like riders zero gravity, it gives me that intro vibes, its like sonic is floating and confused, getting used to this new kind of traveling method

I just started playing Frontiers today and it's so ADDICTING. I couldn't stop playing for 6-7 hours. I think it might be up there with Unleashed, as my top 3 favorite Sonic games.

So basically, because The End has been trapped in here for tens of thousands of years, it knows everything about Cyber Space. This is exactly what it's telling Sonic in order to understand that in the beginning, but he didn't know. This applies for us too, we are not supposed to catch the lyrics so quickly on that first playthough

Finally a game where they remember sonic used to have electronic/pop/jazz music influences before the rock adventure era siezed total control. Don't get me wrong, I think the entire range should be used in the games. Including the rock, which it did, and it makes for a far more interesting and varied OST.
