In this video, I answer the question, how can you get free Azure credits every month?

There are a few ways to get free Azure credits. Of course, Azure has a couple of Free Trial accounts to start. The usual Azure Free account gives you US$200 in credits in the first 30 days. For the first 12 months, you get some number of Azure services for free. And of course, there are Azure services that are always free. Such as the free tier of the Web App.

Of course, if you have an MSDN or Visual Studio subscription, you will get $50, $100, or $150 in credits per month included in your subscription.

And there are other programs such as Microsoft Ignite, Microsoft Action Pack, or Microsoft Spark program.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but my 30-day trial expired. Now, whenever I attempt to do anything, I get a message about not having a subscription. When I attempt to add a subscription, my only choice is pay-as-you-go or more expensive options. Is the free tier REALLY free or just a scam to get you to sign up for pay-as-you-go?
