Bit of advice, the Wyrms can be easily juked. Don't run in a straight line for too long because they're faster than you. Hitting quick turns is key to avoiding them if they spot you.

There are also many safe areas.
The inside of every elevator.
The hallway after you return all books in the Library rooms.
The exit room in the Bathrooms.
The spiral stairs leading to the button and the exit room in the Pool rooms.
Chewtopia/the beginning slide and the arcade in the Playrooms.
The vents and slides can be safe, but it depends on the entity. Hope this helps!
