why I wear all black.

Haha I was so excited to make this video. For those of you who don't know, the tagline of my channel is deep chats in all black. So do I wear black all the time? Ok like 90% of the time. There are odd days I wear color but it's usually on off days.

I usually talk about subjects on life and pursuing a creative career, but I get asked SO often if I actually only wear black. So this one is for you guys.

Wearing black is a hack I do so that I don't have to stress over what to wear. It is such a blessing to be able to match everything in your wardrobe and not EVER feel like you have nothing to wear. We all know that feeling...

I have one problem with wearing black - my wardrobe is like a black hole, I can't see the individual pieces, I often forget what I have. On the other hand - every now and then I get nice surprises when I find an item I had completely forgot that I own :D

Besides blue Jean's, wearing all black is just so much easier, it's harder to mix and match colored clothing, my favorite color is purple and I like light powder blue, colors are nice but black goes with literally everything

Black clothes are the way to go! I’m not a fan of colorful clothes. I’ve tried wearing other stuff with more color but it’s just too colorful for me. Also I completely agree it’s a lot easier to hide stains. In my business I walkways ruin any clothes that are not black right away.

I completely relate! I'm 46 and have worn pretty much all black for decades. I have a couple pieces that arent black to wear when I feel like it, but black is my daily "uniform" . Makes me feel sexy, not self conscious, can focus on what's important. Its me!
