If a country in the east or global south need something they shouldn’t ask the west, it can never be a simple transaction, the west always has to put some kind of catch or requirements that may be hard to attain for poor countries. The west would do anything to make African countries suffer or be put in a position of taking on debt. This is why the Global South and Eastern Asian that are struggling economies need to bypass the Trade Barriers and forge trade only with each other for necessities like food, medicine and industrial materials required for building strong economies.

Before covid each year more than 150million Chinese travel abroad. If China is so isolated you will see many of them being shocked by the outside world and refuse to come back. But that didn't happen and quiet contrary westerners visiting are often shocked by what they see. Simple logic.
