damn, I knew Randy was devoted to classical guitar, but he pretty much took this entire progression and changed it very little, I never thought that he would do that....but back in 1981bwhen he recorded this, nobody prob knew that original composer..ah well Randy's a legend

Randy Rhoads definitely lifted this for Diary of a Madman but it’s takes someone that is good enough to pull it off and genius enough to build it up to what Randy did.

I don’t know how true this was but I did read a long time ago that the composer of this piece was actually in the process of suing Randy for using it but it was soon dropped because of his death.
