The Life-Sized City - Pilot Episode from 2015

Look what we found in our archives. The Pilot Episode of the series, filmed in Montreal. A pilot is usually made to test out the format and to sell the idea to broadcasters. The graphics are totally different than the series now, as is the music, but we think it's fun to see the very earliest incarnation of our series.

We are in the midst of shooting S03 and S04 now. Premiere in Fall 2020.

Awesome video. Traveling to Montreal from the American NE is a huge public transport culture shock

I live in Laval, one of the suburbs of Montreal, and it is filled - FILLED- with empty parking space, huge car lanes without proper intelligent bike paths that connect to one another... (There is some interesting bike paths however, but they are not always useful for day-to-day work to home transportation). You find your way around if you’re an agile cyclist, but the main part of the population does not find it secure enough to bike regularly from one neighborhood to another ( some bridge are very dangerous to cross, although I manage to cross them quickly). If only they could build secure bike paths without thousand of potholes ( because the potholes on the side of the road are rarely fixed and force bikers to slow down, to sway on the road, or to use the sidewalks), I am certain that businesses would do a lot better. They need to build with an intelligent design, to be properly guided and to know the behavior and main whereabouts of the cyclists in Laval. Surely, this is the case for other suburbs.

Budapest just wants to transit into a life sized city with less car and more bikes and public transport, but we have a lot of stupid-stupid solutions. It would be nice if someday you could visit and roast us to hell. :D

Please Mikael, can you make critiqie of the city of Oslo from a cycling perspective. How do you integrate suburbs to the city center with longdistance coherent cyclingroutes? The city council tragic department is run by Green party, so tue time is right.Oslo lacks so much behind Copenhagen with regard to cycling.
