it was a silly comedy action cartoon, it was great for what it was on its own and really not that violent. in some ways pretty tame for a fighting action cartoon. imo ur comparing this to other shows in ur head and public opinion of moms that dont like cartoon violence at all. its not amazing, its not as good as other action cartoons of the same yr, but it was good on its own and made me laugh. i was 18 at the time so not just a kid but did let my inner child enjoy this even tho id still rate it a 6/10, still not a 2 or call it 1 of the worst ever. there r plenty of worse shows, show also made me think of it as a B-list jackie chan adventures. some B-list movies r good to watch as long as its what ur looking for and going in with that expectation. remember that there is a difference between B-list and failure of media entertainment moving picture (movies, shows, cartoons, anime, indie developed films). imo this is comparing one punch man (my dad didnt like OPM episode 1 and wouldnt watch the later episodes 2-12) or konosuba to in another world with my smartphone.
