For the latest Audi e-Tron GT pricing and information:

This all-new electric sedan joins Audi’s two existing EVs, the e-tron SUV and Sportback. Like those, seats 5-passengers and looks every bit an Audi.

First off, it’s gorgeous. But maybe not every bit an Audi, because under all this lovely sheet metal, the e-tron GT shares a platform with the Porsche Taycan.

The GT makes between 469 and 637 horsepower depending on whether you buy the standard or long-range RS model. Oh, now you’re listening. I see you.

The base model or Premium Plus has a starting price of $99,900, excluding the $1,045 destination fee.

The Prestige starts at $107,100 and includes features like heated rear seats, a Bang & Olufsen audio system, Audi traffic jam assist, and a head-up display.

At the top of the range is the RS e-tron GT, which comes with the 590-hp motor that can get a boost to 637 horses in boost mode, and even more features, including a carbon-fiber roof and torque-vectoring AWD. That starts at $139,900.

All those prices potentially qualify for up to $7500s in federal tax credits.

I’m driving the GT that’s got the base powertrain and I can tell you, even this one is super quick.

The 800-volt powertrain, the 93.0-kWh lithium-ion battery, standard Quattro, and what we’d traditionally consider first gear on this 2-speed transmission is basically the sling shot that pulls all that together like chef’s kiss well!

So well, that its does Zero to 60 in from 3.9 to 3.1 seconds according to Audi depending on if you get the standard or RS model..

Around turns you’re just carving things up here. The e-tron GT has great balance and feels comfy glued to the road.

while the steering feels precise it lacks any feedback from the road. It’s hyper electronic.

More like a video game than real life driving. But like i said, point the e-tron GT where you want it, and gets there quick enough.

And boy this thing explodes out of turns like the way the Viper Mk II catapulted off the ship in Battlestar Galactica.

Just don’t worry about that noise it’s making.

Super spaced aged.

On the road I appreciate the e-tron GT’s generous but sporty comfort.

The air suspension comes standard at all four corners, so you’ve got a bunch of pillowy goodness but there is nothing floaty or uncontrolled about this car. It feels nailed to the ground.

When you’re driving you can really feel the engineering working so well together here.

A quick word on braking. Audi doesn’t do one pedal driving here. There is a setting where you can punch up the regen, but it’s not intrusive. The brakes feel completely electronic but they are solid.

And when you’re done driving your 238-mile range, that doesn’t seem all that far to be honest, hook up to a standard DC fast-charging system an the e-tron GT can go from 5 to 80-percent of battery life in a little more than 20 minutes.

Excluding that Taycan, look at the Jaguar I-Pace, a Mustang Mach-E to the Tesla Model S, especially the Long Range variant, for more mileage when competition for your EV-buying dollars.

Audi has announced that all new e-tron GT models will come with three years of free EV charging through the Electrify America network. Incentive, indeed.

Audi is always at the front of the line when it comes to tech. This is cool, to get into the car, you can unlock the door, get in, shut the door and put your hands on the wheel and bam, it turns on.

The cockpit experience definitely checks off a lot of boxes.

This 10.1-inch screen looks great even if you get a lot of fingerprints on the screen. You get wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto, sorry guys, as well as a bunch of other Audi MMI features.

3D navigation looks great, and if you use it, your car can geofence to the nearest charging station, and standard safety features include automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning and blind-spot monitoring.

The general vibe in here is lux but not flashy, just like I like it. As for space, I’m really comfortable up front. Heated seats come standard, BTW.

Cargo capacity isn’t surprising with the rear seats in place. But there is also a “frunk” for a few extra things.

Extras such as a panoramic glass roof, walnut inlays, heated front seats, power tilt 3-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, and 3-zone climate control are also standard.

The RS replaces that glass roof with a carbon one as well as other carbon fiber bits.

You can upgrade with packages for items like perforated Nappa leather seating with RS logos, ventilated front seats with massage function, and carbon-ceramic brakes with red calipers.

From the stunning looks to the killer driving dynamics to the awesome tech, the future is here. The e-tron GT is proof positive. Welcome.

Saw one of these when I went and saw venom last week here in Alaska. Thought it was the RS7 until I noticed the eTron badging. Then the guy took off and I couldn’t see him anymore. Beautiful car

With the prices of cars, I think everyone should choose one and keep it till it falls apart…….and we will see what the automakers do then.
I’m shopping for an electric bicycle 🤣

Looks way better than the EQS imo, at least the exterior.

At this price point I don't know why you wouldn't go with a LUCID Air- over 1, 000hp, over 500 miles range, and (I've sat in both) a much more comfortable interior.

Love the BSG and star wars references Lyn :) always love your reviews....the car is super expensive though with not a lot of range. Will wait for my CyberTruck!

I don't understand folks going on about the price when an RS 7 goes for well over a $120K. Even an S7 is a $100K. It's on the same platform as the Porsche Taycan. You guys do realize this is an Audi right? Same folks that owns Lamborghini..lol
