This is a whirly gig made for Carolina shoes to take to shows for advertising! this will likely never be in the weather.

This was fun build with lots to figure out! as I often say if I make it a second time id make several improvements

It's really inspiring how you just go about building something from scratch and sort of freehand. I find myself getting too caught up in trying to be ultra-precise or following plans I've created. It's nice to be reminded it's totally acceptable (and sometimes the result is better) to just get out there and MAKE the damn thing

It's a Jackman lumberjack! Very cool and I learned a lot of little tips!

That’s the most badass whirligig I’ve ever seen! The carving, the movement, and the animated letters, wow really impressive.

Jimmy, I'm pretty sure I have found every video you have ever made. I've enjoyed every single one of them but this one for some reason really struck a chord with me. In my opinion It displayed your talent, your humor and your production abilities like no other. I really loved it, thank you so much. You have inspired me in so many ways. I'm currently building the shop I've always wanted and the motivation, in large part, is due to the inspiration that I gleaned from you. Thank you Jimmy

Of all your projects, this one is the best. The amount of thought that went into the nuanced details: the bouncing letters, chopping the tree, standing on a pallet. And your carving skills at the band saw, wow! You are a modern-day Renaissance man. It is a pleasure to watch you work.

I've never seen anyone use a band-saw like you do. Thanks for the inspiration Jimmy.

That was fantastic. One year for Christmas I made Snoopy as the red Baron on top of his doghouse with Woodstock in front. Nice job on this one

Carolina, pallet, that's a mini LumberJackman isn't it? 😄

Awesome work Jimmy, you can tell the old toy maker skills are still there!

So many cool moments. Love finding the axe and pallet I see he's cutting down a dead tree, so that's ok. Watching you carve the shapes on the band saw, you got the perfect balance of action and little details. Thanks!

Amazing. I’ve never made a whirly gig but I’ve seen many. This is one of the coolest.

Mad bandsaw skills. Among other things. And you still have all of your digits! Great project and a thoroughly entertaining video. 👍

From scraps of wood comes such wonder. This is my 4th viewing since find it last night.

Of all the amazing builds on YT for some reason this amazes the most
