Listen it’s 2019 and this video absolutely saved my life, I’ve been stressing out so much about chemistry and I simply couldn’t understand how to solve these problems and now I know how to at least solve a problem like this one and that’s good enough for me. So thank you. For making my life slightly easier.

In a Chem 111 class at a local Comm. College. Instructor is giving these exercises right out of a workbook, but not explaining anything. This video was OUTSTANDING! Explained in 8 minutes what she didn't convey in 3 hours.

Shared with lab partners, they are also grateful.

Thank you! A student I was working with was given this formula by his professor to calculate the specific heat of a metal and I am happy to now know how to derive that formula. Good stuff!

i love u sir.... i was staring at this problem for the past i don't know why my professor didn't break it down as simple as this. I dub you the master of all chem teachers

Converting your specific heat value in 0.117 cal/g C and using the Dulong and Petit law we can deduce an atomic weight of your metal of 51.232 amu, which is closest to Cromium, but even Mn, Fe, Co and Ni would respect the law. So your metal is one of those.
