No matter how many times I heard about the Jedi used to use the red lightsabers, I always feel that this is a little weird.

In legends there have been red light saber crystals that were natural in fact Darth Vader's last red light saber crystal was an actual legitimate growing crystal.

When you say artificial you mean the process of "bleeding" the kyber crystal, yes? Just cannot imagine a Jedi going through the process&believe it would be forbidden knowledge. I've always wanted to see a pink lightsaber myself. Wouldn't want one (partial to Ahsoka's silver paired with Luke's RTOTJ hilt & form myself), but have always wanted to see a most beautiful Jedi wielding one in battle. Such as Angelina Jolie at the absolute height of her beauty midway through her career perhaps? Also Master Plo Koon 1st appeared in the PS One title Star Wars Jedi Power Battles (which wasn't bad at all for the time) where he 1st wielded a yellow lightsaber. Darth Maul also would point one finger at his opponent in game&shoot one bolt of red lightning. Which tbh I found to be extremely badass! Such is the beast of what is canonical&what isn't or what is to be retcconed or not? Which is why I truly hope Grand Master Filoni is named studio head once KK's contract is up in October? He is the absolute authority when it comes to what should be canonical&what shouldn't, but do believe with his current title at Lucasfilm he already is the ultimate authority on the matter. Would you prefer John Favreau or Kevin Feige as KK's replacement SW? And as always TY for the daily&always informative content my friend👊🏼
