Scoliosis in adults can be very painful and occurs from 2 mechanisms:
1) Continuation of scoliosis as an adolescent
2) New onset of adult scoliosis as a byproduct of spinal arthritis
Thankfully, pain management doctors are able to achieve a satisfactory level of baseline pain without surgery the vast majority of the time. Hear Dr. Greene, CEO of the US Pain Network, explain the options available with the premier pain clinics in the Network.

Thanks for this video. I was just diagnosed with Degeneration of my spine causing scoliosis curvature. I'd been having back pain for quite a while, but when my DR finally did a CT he was surprised, because he said this is most common in people over 65 and I'm 46! I've started doing yoga, and honestly it seems to help.
