he said ther was NO social distancing maintained a lot of ppl gathered
only for the sake of formality they gave sanitizer bottles to each candidate & the rest is...

High court say that there no postponed of KCET EXAM

1.If we follow the current trend, we will be hitting over 60k cases at mid of August or more and nearly 90k-1lakh at September.

2.Lockdowns had already started at some states and more will follow in future.For weekend lockdowns, it is impossible to travel to exam centres on sunday as public travel is shut.

3.Middle eastern or nri students will have to come before September 1 to undergo mandatory quarantine but as covid cases are on rise it is impossible for international air travel to come to normalcy.We saw air travel only with 4 or 5 countries till now.

4.Trains are shut till August 12, i don't see why govt will allow it from August 12 to run on this distarous situation.

5.That aiims sop is good but implementation is quite difficult and who can guarantee safety of children to travel over 100 Kms or more to exam centres and it will be impossible to control crowd with over 500–600 people.

6.Some are saying this time nta is adamant on conducting exams but actually it is not.Nta is just a examination conducting body, MHRD is the supreme authority.Last time before declaration of postponed dates of exams on July 3, mhrd changed its decision at last time while nta was given order to conduct and they were preparing for conduction of exams till July 3.Postpone jee, neet trend will start from August 1 and mhrd will postpone it just at the last time before release of jee admit card i.e August 15.

7.This time too nta is given orders and the sop we are looking at right now is based on assumption that covid will reduce in September so that they can arrange exam with such protocols.But when cases will hit 1 lakh imagine the scenario. Suppose wb is doing weekend lockdowns in Kolkata, will the state govt allow to allow opening of shops and public travel on that day for an exam when that state will have over 6k-7k cases ?

8.When mhrd couldn't convice CBSE parents when we were having such low cases, how can it convince the parents of their child safety in centres when we will hit nearly 1 lakhs of cases daily.

9.States like Maharashtra are opposing conduction of CBSE exams that too in 15000 centres with candidates less than neet.Will they allow neet to happen on a single shift in Maharashtra when over 1.5 lakhs to 2 lakhs alone will appear for neet from that state ?

10. I think Mhrd is adamant on conduction of final year degree exams as it thinks it is necessary criteria for admission in international universities or iims like that.But it has option of postponing it till October end as academic session will begin from iits from January end as suggested by iit chairman

As much as i like to give jee and get done with it..Government should atleast say something about the students who'll be in containment zones in September..I live in Guwahati..covid cases here increasing everyday..How'll the students of containment zones will give the exams about that MHRD should make a clear statement

The only reason Karnataka has so many cases compared to other states is because they're conducting the most covid tests😂

I am from Assam and not giving KCET..But still i want KCET should be postponed and let the students of KCET get justice...

I think government of Karnataka will now think once of postponing the exam ..If they won't, i think people of Karnataka decided the wrong people in the government...

its not about the goddamn preparation!!
its about our health and more importantly writing one of the most difficult exams for which u ve been preparing for nearly 3+years
how am i suppose to focus on the Questions while sitting in turmoil ther wud be so much stress apprehension fear anxiety in the atmosphere
& to be completely honest i have had some serious mental health issues in the past due some kind of trauma that was the only reason i had to drop an year to prepare but it seems anxiety wud be at peak if i am forced to write an exam amidst turmoil :((
i ve not stepped out of my house in nearly 4 months but i am suppose to give the exams ?
